Another successful Sports Week draws this half term to a close and what a jam packed week it was! The children had the opportunity to experience lots of new sports including American Football, Ultimate Frisbee, Handball and Human Table Football (being a particular favourite!). Our annual trip to Harlow Outdoors Centre a fantastic day out for all involved with lots of children showing determination and courage. Lots of coaches complemented our children on their behaviour and attitude, describing how respectful and enthusiastic they were. New addtitions to this year’s sports week included teachers vs children football and netball matches. A highlight of many being Mr Kern getting a red card from Mrs Hobster!! Our week was brought to a close with Sports Day. This was a great opportunity for the children to show their team spirit and win some points for their house team. KS2 Sports morning ended with Squirrels in lead, the pressure was on for Reception and KS1. A very tense afternoon came to close with Squirrels taking the trophy. Well done Squirrels!!
A huge thank you to all the children and staff for showing so much enthusiasm this week. Additionally, a big thank you to all the parents who helped on trips and supported the children on Sports Day.
